Rider Information

ARRANGEMENTS

• WHEN: Most trail rides can be doen all year round. Specific trail will have certain season and times.

• WHERE: Koedoeslaagte farm (Google maps)

• WE PROVIDE: The horses and all the equipment needed.

• HELMETS: Riding hats are compulsory and are provided. NO HELMET NO RIDE!

RIDER INFORMATION

• WHAT TO WEAR: All riders are advised to wear long trousers and closed shoes.

• RAINY WEATHER: We go out in most weather conditions. Our horses don’t mind a bit of rain 🙂 (The trail can be rescheduled if weather is too bad)

• BRING: Something warm for the cooler days and wet weather gear if rainy. Be sure to also bring along sunscreen, your camera, sunglasses, a hat and any personal items you might need.

NOTE

• TIME: Please be at the kiosk at least 15 minutes before your riding time as we leave promptly at the allocated time. If you are late the ride will still return at the scheduled time and will be cut short.

• LATE ARIVALS: If you are more than 20 minutes late then your ride will be cancelled and no refund given.

• PROBLEMS: If there are any problems with transport or anything else please stay in contact with us, as we can then work something out.

• SHARING RIDES: Children may not share a ride with an adult on one horse.

• AGE LIMIT: Ages 6 and older can ride on their own, depending on their riding skills and comfort. If not, they will be on a lead rein behind one of our guides.

• UNDER AGED: Children under the age of six will be offered lead-rein pony rides under supervision.

• FIRST TIMERS: We have handlers for the less experienced riders and children that do not wish to ride the horse on their own. 

• WEIGHT LIMIT: 12Okg for short rides / 90kg for long distance rides

PRICES/PAYMENTS

• PRICES: Our trail ride prices are the same for both adults and children.

• PARK FEE: All our prices include the Koedoeslaagte Park & Venue fee.

• PAYMENT: NO PAY NO RIDE! Payments can be doen online or a Pasio representative will have sent you an invoice

CANCELLATION POLICY

• REFUNDS: We have a strict no refund policy.

• RESCHEDULING: In the event of rescheduling, the trail needs to be rescheduled at least 24 hours prior.

• BAD WEATHER: In the event of stormy weather, the trail will be moved to a mutually convenient time.
